Duration: 28-Day preparation course at Glocal Experience Hub in Kenya + 8-12 weeks volunteer work in the country of choice in East Africa

Program fee: 2525.56 EUR (Inclusive of accommodation at the GEH, meals, and field immersions facilitation)

Travel with other young people and do volunteer work in East Africa – it will be an experience that will make you smarter about the world!

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to authentically immerse yourself in another country’s culture, society and issues. You will build close relationships and create meaningful memories with your new colleagues, host family and friends, while working together to make a positive difference in the local community. 

During a volunteer stay, you travel and gain an understanding of other cultures and global issues while helping on a project in the local area. You will live with local families and work in schools, NGOs, social enterprises and community-based organizations.

What do you want to work on?

There are many different projects you can be a part of as a volunteer in East Africa. Teach at a school, become an assistant coach at a football or help at permaculture center to harvest and make honey, organic juices and products.

No matter where you choose to travel as a volunteer, you will have a unique experience by getting close to the culture and meeting people who live a completely different life than the one you know.
